The Twelve days of Christmas in Song continues with Day 6.

Now, as we approach the half-way stage, we delve into the world of opera.

We also introduce you to one of our soloists, Sioned Terry, who sings the haunting aria, ‘La Vergine’ with the choir.

It is from the opera La Forza del Destino (The Force of Destiny) by Giuseppi Verdi.

Following the death of her father in mysterious circumstances, Leonora seeks sanctuary at the monastery of Madonna degli Angeli.

Sioned Terry appears at Gala Concert

Classically trained Sioned is a very versatile performer.

Likewise, her repertoire covers opera to popular songs. From stage and screen, lieder, oratorio and Welsh classics.

Moreover, Sioned’s performances have seen her perform at prestigious events.

In summary, ranging from intimate classical music festivals to open air galas, televised concerts, live broadcasts from sporting events.
