The Twelve days of Christmas in Song – Day 11 continues with ‘Safwn yn y Bwlch’.
For our penultimate song, ‘Safwn yn y Bwlch,’ the choir is joined by our second guest artiste, John Ieuan Jones.
John Ieuan, from Rhos on Sea, has won numerous prestigious awards and scholarships.
This year his success continues when he won the Blue Riband (Under 25) at the National Eisteddfod.

In the first place, ‘Safwn yn y Bwlch’ became a signature song for popular Welsh group ‘Hogia’r Wyddfa’.
The music was composed by member and pianist, the late Richard Huw Morris.
Moreover, the patriotic lyrics by Glyn Roberts demand that we stand together in order to preserve our national identity.
Standing together for the sake of our language, country, people and children.
