The Denbigh Choir April Newsletter contains the latest in choral interest, particularly the beginning of the ‘new’ concert season. It also features the start of the Wedding Season with a choir practice visit from a happy couple.
Choir Practice Visitors

Alice and Aled attend Choir Practice
Alice and Aled were welcome visitors to a recent choir practice. They are to marry on June 30 at Trefor Hall, Llangollen.
We will be singing at their ceremony.
Moreover, listening to the choir practice, Alice and Aled got some more ideas as to what is to be included on their Wedding Song List.
Alice told us that she would look entirely different the next time we see her.
We look forward to seeing you both on the big day!
Concert Season Start
Our concert season starts on May 8 at St John’s Church, Llandudno.
The concert starts at 8pm with tickets available at the door. As well as our regular favourites we will be singing some new songs added to our eclectic repertoire.
Also, all our concerts and engagements are in the ‘Upcoming Concerts‘ section on the choir website.
Nia Jones Second Anniversary

Nia Jones
Our accompanist Nia Jones has put up with us for two whole years!
Her effervescent personality and boundless energy make choir practice an enjoyable and learning experience.
In fact, hazardous winter driving conditions have not deterred Nia in her efforts to come to every practice.
Moreover, the hard work of the lambing season on the Jones farm has also meant long days for Nia.
In spite of these demands we value and appreciate her dedication and commitment to the choir.
Llawer o ddiolch Nia.
Prince of Wales’ 70th Birthday Celebration
From an impressive entry of 16 Member Choirs, representing the Welsh Association of Male Choirs, Caldicot Male Voice Choir was drawn to take part in the Prince of Wales’ 70th Birthday Patronage Celebration in Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, 22 May.
It’s certain to be a memorable day.
