Of courseRemember, remember the fifth of November. After all, it’s an important day in our history. Today was also a joyous day. A day to celebrate the wedding of Sam and Emma.
Pentre Mawr Country House, on the outskirts of Denbigh, was the location. The choir returning to sing at a wedding at this popular venue once again.

Wedding of Emma and Sam
On this occasion we were to entertain Sam and Emma, and their guests, following the wedding service. Registrars Nan Evans and Clare Cheung conducted the formalities.
Entertainment at Wedding of Sam and Emma
Our last appearance at Pentre Mawr was outside in a decorated gazebo. Today, the weather was cold, crisp and dry.

Choir at Wedding of Sam and Emma
We were glad to find ourselves allocated to a comfortable stable conversion. Perfect location also for a Christmas Nativity Concert.
The walls adorned with interesting pictures of rural, animal and family life. A collection from many personal travels.
We started the entertainment at the wedding of Sam and Emma with Y Ddau Wladgarwr and Hine E Hine. By this time guests soon filled the room.
Guests became emotional with our rendition of You Raise Me Up. Peter Davies in splendid voice for his solo. This coincided with the arrival of the bride and groom.

Wedding of Sam and Emma with Best Man
The room was now bursting at the seams as the exuberant guests enjoyed our version of The Rose.
Conductor Arwyn Roberts and accompanist Nia Jones somehow remained implaccable. Of course, this was not easy among the children and photographers.
Happy atmosphere at Wedding of Sam and Emma
It was a wonderful, happy atmosphere at the wedding of Sam and Emma. And the best was yet to come.
During our rousing rendition of Sospan Fach, Emma could not contain her dancing feet. She cavorted in style around the floor.
Her joy was infectious.
When we sang Calon Lân, Emma and her Dad joined in with pride and emotion.
Tears of Joy
Finally, the requested We’ll Keep a Welcome brought tears of joy to so many faces. Some were choir members.
Emma, striding forward to the choir, tears still running down her cheeks, said:
“You brought tears to my eyes.”
We could see they were tears of joy.

Let Love Sparkle at the Wedding of Sam and Emma
On our way out we could see a pot of Firework Sparklers. Ready to light up the night sky.
A notice said ‘Let Love Sparkle’.
At the wedding of Sam and Emma, it did.
We are so grateful for the invitation to share in such joy.
Finally, we wish Mr and Mrs Kalubowila every future happiness together.
