Easter Greetings to all our readers across the full spectrum of social media. This Special Newsletter will bring you the latest news about the choir and its members.
News of the Three A’s

Alyn, Arthur and Albert (extreme right)
Alliteration attemps appeasement as Alyn, Arthur and Albert’s ailments adversely affect all attendances.
Alyn Lloyd, Arthur Jones and Albert Roberts have recently received hospital treatment. They have been sorely missed during choir activities.
Most of all we wish them a speedy recovery and a warm welcome is assured on their return to the choir.
Midsummer Music at St Mary’s
It’s CBUG’s time again at St Mary’s Church, Rhuddlan. The Colwyn Bay Ukelele Band join our choir and solo performer Alun Rhys Jones in a ‘back by popular demand’ concert at the church on Friday, May 26 at 7:30pm.
It is the same line-up that appeared in last year’s ‘Concert for Derek‘.

Gallery Page
We’re really pleased with the appearance of the ‘new look’ Photo and Video Gallery. Judging by the number of viewings it’s a big success.
We think the improvements have made it a lot easier for you to access pictures from the various galleries.
There is also a section of our popular video recordings.
Easter Greetings Bonus
Our Free Download of ‘American Trilogy’ has attracted a lot of attention. Recorded in 2016 during our concert at St John’s Church, Llandudno.
It is available for you to download and the details can be seen on the sidebar pages of our website.
Easter Birthdays

Easter Birthdays for Ray Jones and Elfed Evans
At the recent choir practice choir members Ray Jones and Elfed Evans received the full bilingual version of ‘Happy Birthday’.
Believe me, it sounds a bit special when sung by the choir.
Sorry that we will miss your Llandudno concert by a few days! Arriving from Alabama with my wife and three of the junior (American!) members of my extended family in Manchester on the 27th and staying in Conwy for a week from Mon 29th.
We went to the church in Llandudno about two years ago in remembrance of my father (Goronwy Davies) and his brother Arthur who was a very proud member of your choir.

PS My wife is on your mailing list
Thank you so much Hefin for leaving a comment on one our Blogs. It is so nice to receive comments. What a shame that your visit does not coincide with our Llandudno concert. As a fall-back position you could always attend our choir practice night, every Tuesday night at 7:30pm in Eirianfa Community Centre, Denbigh. You would receive a warm welcome – and a good Welsh cup of tea! Of course, we remember Arthur with affection and your father was well-known to a few of the choir members who worked at the North Wales Hospital. Wishing you a very pleasant stay in the Land of Song !
