The large gazebo sheltered us from the rain. It was surreal and atmospheric.
Our usual piano accompaniment accompanied by unreal rhythmic rain falling on the gazebo roof.

Some choristers were singing ‘Raindrops are Falling on my Head’ and ‘Singin in the Rain.’
Deputy Conductor Clwyd Wynne and accompanist Nia Jones reminded us of our agreed programme.

‘We’ll Keep a Welcome’ set the perfect tone for the arrival of the first guests. They seemed surprised and pleased at the presence of the choir.
‘Plaisir D’Amour,’ ‘O Gymru’ and ‘Gwawrio Mae’r Bore’ were well received. The evergreen favourite ‘Myfanwy’ drew accepting reactions from our audience.
David and Sarah made their entrance to the requested ‘You Raise Me Up.’
Peter Davies giving another sterling performance on the solo verse.
The service was taken by Nerys Ellis, Registrar in the County of Denbighshire.
