Key choir appointments are a vital necessity to ensure future continuity and continued success for the choir.
The Covid pandemic has had a profound worldwide effect. The loss of life has been devastating. The economic and social disruption to every community has been palpable.
The government imposed lockdowns, with the enforced self-isolation meant that most social hobbies and pastimes could not take place.
In the grand order of things, singing may not be a vital activity.
However, a Choral Census, produced by Voices Now, states that 2.14 million people are now singing regularly in choirs. A record 40,000 choral groups now sing across the UK.
But the singing had to stop. For the best part of 18 months, concerts and musical engagements had to be cancelled.

Profuse thanks for their sterling service and good wishes for the future.
The committee, under the chairmanship of Paul Harrison, is vigorously pursuing replacements.
Paul welcomes those interested to contact him as indicated in the poster above.
