Henllan School Concert

The Henllan School Concert will feature school pupils and the Denbigh and District Male Voice Choir.

A St David’s Day Evening Concert will take place at St Sadwrn Church, Henllan on Friday, March 24, 2017. Commencing at 7:00 p.m.

“Never work with animals or children,” suggested Hollywood comedian and actor W. C. Fields. There is every possibility that they will steal the limelight.

The choir will not harbour any such worries.

Moreover, this is not the first joint venture. The choir and Henllan School staged a succesful musical evening in 2016.

The venue this year is St Sadwrn Church, which gives the village its name of Henllan, meaning old church.

Above the steeply-sloping churchyard is the detached tower. From here the church bells are more audible.

There will be no such problem on the night of the concert.

The young voices, and of course, some not so young, will resonate within the church.

To the approval and enjoyment of the audience.

The proceeds of the concert will go to the Henllan School PTA.
