Another Sankey Moody evening has become a regular annual feature at St Thomas’ Church, Denbigh.
The pairing of the evangelical duo Ira David Sankey and Dwight Lyman Moody compiled a 1877 hymn collection which remains popular.

The evening also coincides with Christian Aid week for which there is a collection.
The Rev. Nesta Davies led the congregational singing in her inimitable and energetic style.
Furthermore, our choir sang six items, three of which, Do You Hear the People Sing, Dal Fi fy Nuw, and Amazing Grace, were performed in public for the first time.
Moreover, visitors from Germany, Budapest and the Philippines provided an international awareness of world wide issues.
The Rev. Gareth Roberts proposed a vote of thanks and gave his blessing on the evening.
