The start of a new season of Denbigh choir activity. It’s like the beginning of a new football season. Some new venues to visit, some familiar ones. It all gives choir practice a sense of purpose as we prepare for the season ahead.
At the beginning of a ‘new season’ the musical director Arwyn Roberts will select new songs. It’s imperative to refresh the choir repertoire.

Also, this enlivens choir practice. It is also a challenge to the choristers. Teaching old dogs new tricks and all that!
Of course, choir practice is very enjoyable as we try and please Arwyn. But it is no substitute for the real thing.
Denbigh Choir Activity Appreciation
The roar of the crowd, to return to the football analogy. There is nothing quite as invigorating as spontaneous applause from an audience. We are fortunate. We get our fair share.

By the same token, there will be plenty of warm applause at the first date that appears in our 2017 diary. Corws Colin Jones is coming to Denbigh town.
Four members of our choir also sing for Colin Jones’s re-formed choir. Along with Marie Curie Cancer Care we will have a share in the proceeds.
Denbigh Choir Activity at Weddings

Choir Activity and Wedding Bells
The first of our 2017 weddings takes place at Vale Country Club, Ruthin on April 1. We have several wedding bookings for this year, not to mention one for 2018.
That’s what I call forward planning.
Additionally, our season at St John’s Church, Llandudno starts on May 9. These twice weekly Male Voice Choir concerts are well established.
It is such an enjoyable choir activity.
Denbigh Choir Activity at Music Festival

Music Festival at Parcfarm
Furthermore, from a familiar choir activity to the unexpected.
We are appearing at the Music Festival at Parcfarm in Llanarmon in Ial, near Mold over the August Bank Holiday.
It should be a wonderful atmosphere.
In conclusion, you can find details of this and other events on these pages.
