The choir once again supports Wales Air Ambulance as a result of a traumatic and heartfelt accident.
The Choir is always keen to support local charities and community events, writes Mike Baines, Choir Secretary.
Recently choir members put their hands in their pockets to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance.
A vital service provided to accident victims.
Moreover, it is entirely dependent upon voluntary donations.
Sophie Davies, a granddaughter of choir member Iorwerth Davies, and her friend Mia were recently involved in a horrific car crash.
Sadly, in the same accident, another girl lost her life.

Fortunately, Sophie and Mia survived.
Cheque Presented to Wales Air Ambulance
Rescued dramatically by Wales Air Ambulance. And taken to Stoke Hospital where they received emergency operations.
Now, well on the way to recovery, the girls are supporting the fund raising efforts of Sally Smith.
Inspired by the two girls, Sally is undertaking weekly park runs to raise funds for Wales Air Ambulance.
As a result, Sophie and Mia, along with family and friends, came along to our weekly rehearsal on Tuesday.
Then, a surprise serenade for the visitors by the choir. Followed by a presentation of a cheque for £250 to support this wonderful effort.
In conclusion, an emotional and heart-warming evening.
Moreover, the choir also previously supported Wales Air Ambulance at a concert at Dolfor in 2014.
Also donations from proceeds of programme sales during the choir’s 25th Anniversary concert given to this worthwhile and life saving service.
